Primary Duties and Responsibilities
Participate in nursing activities, including the preparation, evaluation and implementation of nursing care plans to insure quality patient care and the development of staff. Provide direct nursing care in the areas of health maintenance, nutrition, actives of daily living, and the treatment and prevention of illness. o Act as health liaison with medical consultants. o Coordinate and schedule medical follow-up, including completion of consultations. o Provide first aid and emergency nursing care. o Provide supervision to the LPN's and the direct care staff on medical issues. o Responsible for development and oversight of Nursing Plans of Service as assigned. o Responsible to train staff at the IRA on these Nursing Plans of Service on an ongoing basis as needed. o Monitor and order pharmaceutical supplies for each individual. o Responsible for training staff in current nursing policy and procedures, individualized specific medical issues and treatments, medication administration (and recertification), and ensuring compliance through oversight and record reviews o Meet documentation requirement i.e. obtaining & transcribing physicians' orders, daily nursing note, semi-annual nursing summaries, health charts, medication regimen reviews and case review summaries. o Attend team reviews and present information, as needed.

Salary Range:
From $70982 to $80454 Annually
Minimum Qualification
Transfer Must have one year of permanent service as a Nurse 2; OR Must have one year of permanent service in a title eligible for transfer under 70.1 of the Civil Service Law; OR Must have one year of permanent service in a title within two (2) salary grades of G-16, and have a passing score and current status on the Nurse 2 eligible list to be eligible for transfer under 70.4 of the Civil Service Law; OR Open Competitive Must be active and have a reachable score on the Nurse 2 eligible list. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
