Salad / Garde Manger

Job Description:

  • Experienced in preparing, and presenting cold foods, such as salads, meats and cheeses.

  • Prepare cold displays and work with hot cook to assemble chilled foods.

  • Must have Safe Food Handling, knife skills and kitchen safety.

  • Knife skills - cutting, chopping, carving, dicing.

  • Ability to fill-in at other stations when chefs are absent.

  • Responsible for inventory, preparation and presentation of select dishes and food items.

  • Able to work in a team-oriented environment?

  • Must be able to multitask.

  • Ability to work in all departments of kitchen

  • Responsible for station hygiene and sanitation.

  • Dress professionally and within the guidelines of Company procedures including the company approved uniform.


  • Individual must have 1-2?years of experience in a kitchen environment.

  • Demonstrated ability to take orders and follow through as well as work well with others in a team-driven, fast-paced environment is essential.

  • Must be energetic, enthusiastic, creative, and highly motivated to assist in food preparation and presentation.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
