Printer Specialist

Summary:
As an entry level Printer Specialist you'll be responsible for visiting our Long Island and NYC customers periodically to collect data on their office equipment type and usage. You will take that data and create basic reports to assist the sales team and ensure all contract billing information is captured. This position requires a high degree of accountability and an ability to work with varying levels of supervision. Each day will be unique, requiring an ability to prioritize and multitask.
Typical Duties and Responsibilities:
Visiting customers to:
Coordinate installation of meter monitoring software
Identify networked/local printers and copiers, print configuration pages and count inventory
Create and upload Excel files
Monitor reports of non-contracted office equipment:
Determine devices to add to contract from remote software reporting
Submit reports to the Billing dept to add the equipment to the database
Track devices added or removed from billing
Update sales team on new equipment at the customer site or usage changes
Maintain accurate contact information to ensure meter requests are received by customers
Notify the Billing Department when meters need correction so proper action is taken
Notify the Billing Department of device(s) that should be removed from contract
Perform other duties as assigned
Knowledge and Skills:
Working knowledge of MS Excel
Familiarity with basic computer network structure and terms
Highly organized and detail oriented
A high level of data entry accuracy, and focus on data integrity is required
Self-motivated and directed
Excellent interpersonal skills to include verbal and written communication
Ability to effectively multi-task and work under a fast paced environment
Experience Requirements:
1+ years experience working with customers.
Preferred but not required experience in data collection, entry, analysis and reconciliation.
Education Requirements:
Some College credits perferred



Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
