C is seeking a Full Time Medical Appointment Scheduler to join our Call Center team in Commack.
Bilingual a Plus! As a call center professional, you play a key role in representing the organization and practices with the overall responsibility of quickly managing patient calls related to scheduling patient appointments and information.
Essential Duties and
Responsibilities:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform the following satisfactorily; other duties may be assigned.

Greeting patients professionally on the phone.
Understanding of the nuances of medial scheduling as it relates to insurance, as well as medical and cosmetic treatments.
Gathering patient demographics, insurance and reason for visit and insurance verification.
Direct requests for Rx refills.
Optimize provider schedules and patient satisfaction with efficient scheduling Requirements:
Education - High School Diploma or Equivalent Experience - One (1) year of experience as a qualified Medical Receptionist.
Dermatology experience a plus.
Computer skills - Microsoft Office Suite, EMA PM and EMR a plus.
