Job Description:
JOB DUTIES INCLUDE, BUT NOT LIMITED TO:
PROVIDE ADMINISTRATIVE SUPPORT:
Manage the daily operations of the patient scheduled Ensure compliance with respect to the use of medication, accurate data collection, good clinical practices, and regulatory requirements.
Speak with referring physicians, primary care providers or family members of patient in need of further clinical care after reviewing the patient history with Dr.
Condon.
Oversee the clinical management of patient care Provide in-service and teaching to staff as needed Prepare teaching materials and patient information related to specific clinical requirements or procedures and monitor adherence Ensure adherence to clinical advice given and report any non-compliance directly to Dr.
Condon Evaluate the work performance of research personnel Maintenance of adequate and accurate records to be made available for inspection of clinical record requests Ensure that only designated trained personnel are involved with the evaluation and treatment of patients Report any critical change in patients clinical care directly to Dr.
Condon for further evaluation and action PROVIDE CLINICAL SUPPORT:
Provide direct nursing care and medical services to patients as directed by Dr.
Condon Monitor vital signs (T, P, R, BP, height, weight) Obtain pertinent patient history (medical, surgical, social, familial) Perform physical examinations and provide ongoing health assessments Conduct special procedures as needed (ABI, ANS, RETINAL PHOTOS, SONOGRAMS, METABOLIC TESTING), etc.
Perform phlebotomy and process samples as required Collect data that is specific to visit and medical requirements Establish required source documentation related to patient visit, health status, any adverse events Notify Dr.
Condon of any serious patient adverse events and input necessary reports within required time frames Review all laboratory results and notify patients if any change in medications is required or follow-up needed Provide treatment plans for patients as directed by physicians Dispense medication and monitor safety and efficacy Instruct patients about specific protocol requirements, including patient compliance and document risks in failure to do so Coordinate ancillary medical services including:
lab testing, metabolic, sonograms, ABI's, retinal photo, dietary consultation, diabetes education, visiting nurse, etc.
Notify Dr.
Condon of any patient hospitalizations, drug discontinuations, deaths, etc.
Submit complete and accurate charting reports to Dr.
Condon Return phone calls only when urgent or emergent issues arise and have staff advise patients they should schedule an appointment when patients have clinical questions that they don't understand and need further direction and education Miscellaneous follow up as directed by Dr.
Condon for clinical matters Job Types:
