Job Description POSITION PROFILE The Senior Technology Manager is a middle level management role for the assigned functional/Technology area in the IT organization. Manages and mentors subject matter experts, project leads and/or analysts. This role works under the general direction of the Director, Functional/Technology Area and has responsibility over sub area defined in the organization. This is an expert/lead technical role with in depth cross functional understanding of the application and architecture. JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Leads the design and development of an application architecture in the relevant domain. Manages a team of resources that delivers best in class solutions to business problems through the use of information technology. Provides in depth application and technical expertise for the assigned business function. Coordinates cross functionally within IT and/or business functions to deliver projects. Executes projects and initiatives in full compliance with defined processes and controls. Manages the customer relationship with business/IT function leads, in support of the assigned area. Manages and deliver projects - on schedule, within budget, with high quality and within scope, following defined processes/controls. Coordinates cross functionally on complex projects, as appropriate. Manages and mentors team members, conducts periodic reviews, and identifies areas of development, opportunities for their growth. Location Commack, New York Job Description Continued Assists team members with delivery/tools needed to perform their job. Proactively recommends alternative approaches to business problems in the assigned area. Participates in decision making process around technology strategy, conducts analysis on technical viability of solutions and provides guidance on delivery of complex projects. Provides consultation on technology challenges, system issues and implementing cross functional solutions. Ensures compliance with audit requirements, SOX and operational control. Performs other duties as assigned. QUALIFICATIONS (Education, Experience, and Certifications) Typically Required:
Bachelors or Masters Degree in information technology or related field. Min of 7 years of experience managing/leading Information technology for a large company in a cross functional environment. Min of 5 years of experience with significant depth of knowledge in ERP/CRM /EAI and development methodologies. Min of 3 years progressive management experience. Salary Range:
$200K -- $250K
Minimum Qualification
Technology ManagementEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
