FRONT DESK RECEPTIONIST RESPONSIBLE TO:
FRONT DESK SUPERVISOR
Job Description:
Job duties include but not limited to:
Coverage on Front Desk (Checking-in or checking-out patients) Checking in:
confirming all patient demographics, phone numbers (cell and home and/or secondary number), and pharmacy information for prescriptions, insurance - make sure referrals are in place if required, and primary physician information.
Signed patient information sheets, driver's license and active insurance cards are scanned.
Asking patients if they have any recent endocrine results needed for their practitioner.
Checking out:
collecting co-pays and any other fees due.
Scheduling all patient follow up appointments as well as any clinical procedures ordered (notifying provider if patient refuses to schedule appointment).
Reconcile all money at the end of the day.
Answering phones, taking accurate, intelligent and complete messages, and follow up of all messages as appropriate.
Calling and following up with patient no-shows and patient reminder calls when patients are due for appointments.
Scanning:
Patient medical information including prescriptions, consult letters, lab results, procedural results and any other pertinent clinical information Completing all assigned tasks for the day Assisting and completing any other specialized tasks that may be requires on a day to day basis SALARY DISCUSSED UPON HIRE, BASED UPON EXPERIENCE Job Types:
